Most recently (about May 16) he reported seeing this &#8220;white-faced ibis!!&#8221;\u00a0 His comments follow:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: left;\">&#8220;The White-faced Ibis that was first seen about a week ago is still hanging out in the Halfway Creek Marsh.\u00a0 This marsh is on the north side of county ZN about \u00bd mile west of Midway and between Midway and the Visitor\u2019s Center of the La Crosse District of the Upper Mississippi River NWR.\u00a0 This is west of Hwy 35 and County ZN can be reached by exiting on OT from that road.\u00a0 In Midway, take ZN to the west and watch for the small parking area on the right (north) side of the road after you go around a major corner.\u00a0 This is east of the RR tracks.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/refugeassociation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/white-faced-ibis-USFWS-700x512-400x292.jpg\" alt=\"Image result\" \/>\u00a0 \u00a0WHITE-FACED IBIS<\/p>\n<p>Another interesting report was of the WHITE ROBIN Dan photographed this spring, which I cropped to show here!\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Dan has been posting his sightings at\u00a0<strong>https:\/\/www.freelists.org\/list\/wisbirdn<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2077\" style=\"width: 154px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2077\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2077\" src=\"http:\/\/www.greatriver.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/white-Robin-144x300.jpg\" alt=\"White Robin\" width=\"144\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.greatriver.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/white-Robin-144x300.jpg 144w, http:\/\/www.greatriver.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/white-Robin-490x1024.jpg 490w, http:\/\/www.greatriver.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/white-Robin.jpg 625w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 144px) 100vw, 144px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-2077\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">White Robin<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dan Jackson, who probably hears and sees every bird to pass through the Coulee Region has a reported several oddities of interest.
