William D. Bowell, founder of Padleford Packet Boat Company, in MPLS\/St. PAUL covers much of an adventurous and accomplished life. Capt. Bowell is the founder of the Passenger Vessel Association, and the winner of the National Rivers Hall of Fame Achievement Award.
